The Project
The project Truth Seekers Chain (aka TSC) began its works at the end of June 2021 after having been succesfully selected as one of the winners of the 1st Open Call of the TruBlo European project, funded by the European Union under the Horizon 2020 framework. Gruppo SIGLA is collaborating with CIPI on the project, strenghtening the ongoing synergies as part of the Cybertooth laboratory.
The Objectives
The project wants to design a methodology and to implement an open ecosystem meant to be used for fighting the spread of fake news and of tampered contents generated by users on the internet and social media.
The Outcome
Particularly, TSC focuses on different elements composing its foundational concepts: social network analysis tools, distributed independent verifiers of a content veracity and on a beyond-state-of-the-art technological framework (self-sovereign identity, blockchain, Machine Learning-based tools and bots screening). The main outcome expected from TSC is the design of a conceptual approach and of a set of instruments capable of increasing trust and ensuring transparency and accountability.
